TOURNAMENT REPORT:

DV ladies arrived on a hot Saturday morning to learn there were only three teams involved in the Medway 7’s tournament.

This did not stop them from making every minute count!

Game one, tries started with Doots taking the first and missing the conversion. With great runs and dominant scrums the game ended 6 tries to 1.

Game 2 the players passed the ball edge to edge and scored in the corners as well as using their strength and power to score under the posts.

Game 3 DV ladies had already won the tournament, a valiant group making a baa baas side from Thanet and Medway came together to play us as the champions on the main pitch.
With strategic and well planned swapping of players, (well done Bex) everyone got the opportunity to show their skills during the game.

Highlights of the day; Vic for committing to every tackle and making it count. Shelley, Sophie and Lauren for being the only players to score their conversions. Andy and Caitlyn for knowing when to pass and when to take the ball through players in order to score the tries.

Thank you to Medway for being great hosts both during and after the tournament. We wish any and all injured players a speedy recovery.
