Kent county reps and 3 games under the lights, shine at the weekend.

Under 10's SNL vs Westcombe Park
With our first fixture since the festival at Beccehamians the team was absolutely buzzing for the evening.
From the outset the U10s were strong in the rucks and worked hard on the tackles with good discipline to keep them low.
We had under the lights debuts for Jack, Bear and both Oliver’s all of them doing really well with smiles on their faces at the final whistles.
A huge congratulation to Ethan and Emily for being picked by Westcombe Park coaches for their performance and efforts, and a massive well done to Ted for winning our player of the week.
A brilliant evening, fantastic rugby and attitude by the U10s on both team. Looking forward to Saracens next weekend!

Under 11's SNL vs Westcombe Park
What an evening of rugby at the Lodge, as we welcomed Westcombe Park. With the great start to our first three festivals of the season, we knew this would be a very tough test.
We have been hosted by Westcombe Park previously, and so we were keen to return the favour. They are a well drilled team and have plenty of ability across their two teams.

BUT our U11’s went toe to toe with their boys over 6 matches (4 draws included) and it was neck and neck all the way.

The coaches brief at the end was full of so many positives, especially because we felt we lost a few key battles, that could have changed certain results. We have areas we can work on and get better at, which the coaches are already working on.

Overall a fantastic evening and some very very high praise from a top opposition. A very proud U11s Coaching team ??

Under 12's vs Old Gravesendians
In a thrilling match at The Lodge, the under 12's faced off against Old Gravesendians with a strong focus on maintaining a good defensive line and aggressive line speed. Old Gravesendians came with a game plan of quick play from penalties, which caught the team off guard at first, but dominant tackles, speed off the line and to the breakdown slowed OGs down. The Valley players executed their game plan brilliantly, taking an impressive 4-1 lead during the game, however, despite their incredible efforts, the match ended in a 4-4 draw. With OGs getting the final try with the last play of the game.

The team played with determination, showcasing our team ethos of work rate, effort and responsibility. Though the final score was a draw, the players can take pride in their performance and the progress made in their defensive play was the talk of the match. Great job, team! Let's build on this momentum for our next game

Man of the Match (MOM): Ruben
Tackler of the Day: Ethan
