The boys showed huge heart and peiced together some great rugby but ultimately came up short yesterday against a strong Old Elthamians RFC squad in a brilliant double header season opening day at The Lodge.

A hard fought game for our super 2's, the lads showed real heart and spirit throughout against a young and well drilled opposition. Credit to Athur England coming off the bench to play his first ever senior game. Some positives to take from a hard day at the office, the lads will be looking to build on that performance next week.

The squad will reflect, recover and are back into training on tuesday, in preparation for their next challenges on Saturday, as the 1XV travel to Gillingham Anchorians and the Super 2’ssss welcome Old Brocklieans 2's to the Lodge.
